As you all know, last week was Alani’s birthday.
We literally celebrated all last week, yes! 2 is such a huge milestone so a celebration all week is necessary lol. But, honestly she really enjoyed it all.
We did museums, coney Island, art gallery, etc, which I’ll save for another post.
We had a mommy & daughter date, and went to an art studio called Private Picassos (Future Mommy Meet up?!?!). I’ve been looking for an art studio for Alani to go to, perhaps take some classes in the future. I wanted to see if she’d like it, and she really had a blast.
We didn’t participate in their art class, but we did a drop in, and was able to paint, read books, color, all for 15$, and allowed to stay as long as we liked.
The place is so beautiful, and great for children to get creative, as you can see in the pictures below.

It’s about to start getting cold out here in NYC, so it’s the perfect indoor place to bring the kiddies.
The fact that she put her glasses on top of her head like that is hilarious.
Her masterpiece, I just helped with the little sun in the corner, and the bottom portion, because she wanted me to participate too.
We’re most definitely going to return.
