Yesterday we visited Prospect Park. I recently learned of the Rose Garden in Prospect Park, and how the park is working on restoring this area of the park with their Connective Project. They’re also celebrating 150 years. I don’t think I’ve ever been or even heard of Prospect Park ever having an installation, and this is like my local park, so you know we had to go and support.
It’s such a beautiful area, it’s really like a hidden gem. Ive been to prospect park hundreds of times, and I’ve never come across this section. The 7,000 yellow pinwheel installation was such a good idea to drive attention to this area.
Make sure you guys go and visit if you’re in the neighborhood. This installment is only on view for a week. The last day to visit is July 17th. You can even make your own pinwheel too on certain days, check out Connective Project for more information. Bring a blanket and food if you want to make it more exciting.
Thanks for stopping by, check out our photos, and leave a comment below.
The entire area is filled with pinwheels, it’s even more beautiful when the wind starts blowing.
When the scenery forces you into a photo shoot
When you’re always taking pictures, and your daughter says she wants a turn too (Thanks To my nephew for the assistance)
My God brother Gavin & I
My nephew really takes the best pictures. I love that she’s at the age where we can have real conversations now.
Hey Jordan
Love that my nephews still enjoy hanging out with me
I wasn’t going to post this picture because I love it so much, but it’s just so damn hilarious. My poses aren’t even this fancy.
Also, don’t worry about not being able to find this hidden gem. There is a trail that leads you straight there.
If you all visit this installment let me know if you enjoyed it.
