Pumpkin Picking

Every year we’ve been going pumpkin picking, and this year was no different; well only that it’s 4 of us now. I love creating traditions for my family, and just pray we can keep it up. For all my friends and family who asked, we went to Albert Schmitt’s Family Farm in Long Island. This was our second time, and it’s always a good time.

Let me side track really quickly. Some of you may have seen on my insta story when I said leaving the house with two kids is like a mission, that I just can’t get the hang of. For me those last few minutes leading upp to leaving the house gives me anxiety, because it’s like i’m always worried about leaving something and somehow I still always leave something, and on top of that that’s usually the time period where everything goes wrong. we made it outside, almost to the car then the baby started fussing, and at the same time Alani drops her favorite toy phone in dirty water ( that reminds me I promised her a new one). I’m saying all this to say we’re adjusting to being a family of four, and still trying to find our rhthym, How long did it take you guys to get into a comfortable groove???
