Here are the last of our pictures from our trip to San Juan.
One thing about art class in college is that it made me appreciate art so much.
I wish we could’ve visited every museum and art gallery in San Juan. Their art galleries were filled with Puerto Rican artist, they were so beautiful. Too bad we couldn’t take any pictures.
These beautiful colored fishes in the back of the museum.
Alani’s God mommy got a good tan.
Alani absolutely loved the beach, I think she loved how the sand felt in between her toes too, because she didn’t want me to pick her up at all!
Clearly this is my favorite picture from the entire trip, for too many reasons to list.
Alani enjoyed playing with the sand too. Several times I caught her trying to put handfuls of sand in her mouth.
She never wants to keep her accessories on.
Please explain to me why babies grow so quickly!
This is her exploring the airport. She was so good during both flights going and coming. We decided to take early flights in hopes that she would sleep straight through, and with our luck she did just that.
You know that face people make when they notice that they’re going to be sitting next to a baby for a flight thats a few hours? yea we got those faces. I know they were happy when Alani slept most of the plane ride, and she barely made any noises when she woke up. The passengers behind us even praised us for having a baby aboard and not hearing a squeak.
That last picture up there is when we were on our way back to New York. We checked our bags and went through security so quickly that we had an hr and a half of spare time, so I decided to have Alani walk to make her nice and tired when we boarded the plane. We ended up walking around the entire airport, and just like I hoped, she was nice and tired, and fell asleep before takeoff.
Now Sekou and I are planning our next trip.
That’s it for our San Juan trip, you can see part 1 and part 2 here and here
Until next time!
