Children’s Museum of Manhattan

Okay, so Sekou and I agree that we are starting our museum journey. We want to visit all of the most famous museums in NYC. We have a few under our belt, but there’s a lot more on the list. We’ll be visiting all of the great ones all over the world as well (I’m speaking it into existence right here on this blog).

Anyway, yesterday we woke up and said okay what’s on the agenda, and decided the Children’s Museum of Manhattan would be our first stop.

The Children’s Museum Of Manhattan was AMAZING. If you’re reading this and you have kids you have to take them there. It’s really like the equivalent of what the MET would be for adults. Sekou and I love the MET and have been there on several occasions.

Back to the CMOM; there are 5 floors full of excitement. Alani really had a great time, and so did I, she had me crawling in tunnels, going on slides about 10 times back to back (no exaggeration), crossing over bridges, playing grocery shopping, and much more. There were so many cool exhibts, the Frolic, and the NYC were my absolute favorite. I think Alani loved the Frolic exhibit, as soon as we put her down she was on the go, she could’ve stayed there the entire visit and been fine.

If your child is anything like mine, who loves to climb, and get into everything, this is the perfect place to let them be free and enjoy. So, check it out whenever you get the chance. Thank me later.

Happy Monday All!

The kids get to takeover the Big Apple by getting on the bus, taking a taxi to their next destination, stopping to get something to eat at the nearest food vendor. It’s just supper cute

I love the blog. When she’s old enough, definitely, take her to Washington DC, the Smithsonian is a treasure. Get good walking shoes 😆
