The weekend is over, and one holiday is down already.
I’m not ready for the holidays to be over yet.
Christmas is about 3 and a half weeks away, and I cannot wait, more family time, and more food, not to mention Christmas in NYC is known to be the best, so we’re about to take full advantage.
This weekend after the holiday festivities, we enjoyed our time at the Kings Theatre. They had a holiday open house, with a Santa station, where the kids were able to color, and take pictures with Santa, surprisingly Alani didn’t cry, or do that loud obnoxious scream she does when she doesn’t know someone.
This was actually our first time at the Kings Theatre, and it is absolutely beautiful, I definitely will be back to catch one of their shows.
If anyone is thinking of a gift to give me for Christmas, perhaps you can surprise me with Annie tickets (wink).
Alani had fun while we were there, and a couple of my friends were there who also have children, so it was a little play date, too cute.
Hey baby Steven, he’s is such a big boy now!
Alani did not want to stop coloring, she had a meltdown when we took the crayons from her.
Look at this happy baby Santana, every time I see him he’s smiling and laughing!
Then we stopped at this restaurant called Lea’s, I’ve been dying for some good pizza, and I seen that they had it on their menu, and their oven is imported right out of Naples, Italy, so we tested it out.
Sekou had a grilled Romaine cesar salad, and it was really really good.
The restaurant is cute, small and cozy, the only thing is that they don’t have much of a variety on their menu, but what we had was good.
Alani was sleep the entire time we were at the restaurant, so it felt like Sekou and I were on a date alone.
And just like that, it was Monday already.
I need one of these mimosa’s right now, ha.
Happy Monday everyone, have a great week!
