Have you moms ever received those baby books; the one you’re suppose to fill in with memorable moments, and milestones?
Well anyway, I received two of those as gifts during my baby shower. I picked one and
Sekou took the other. We were supposed to fill it in as our baby girl reached milestones, and other memorable things worth noting.
I think we both probably documented the first couple months of Alani’s life, and stopped after that.
I thought it would be more fun to document her life using Project Life.
It’s basically a scrapbook that’s easy and fun to use.
I bought this project life kit about a year ago, and I barely documented anything in there.I printed the pictures to add to the book, but it just seems as though I never found the time to get creative.
Good thing I wrote down all of Alani milestones, and other things worth noting, like her favorite song, her favorite commercial, etc.
This weekend I made a conscious effort to spend some time putting this album together, and I plan to keep it up, because I have a lot of months to catch up on.
I feel like because of the internet printed pictures are like extinct, and I just want to be able to show Alani how I documented so many memorable moments in her life. Perhaps it will be a great gift one day.
Thank goodness for my little space here on the internet where I am able to share lots of memories with my daughter, but this scrapbook will be much more intimate and personal.
I’ll try to keep you all updated on my progress.
PS. For the parents wanting to make a scrapbook for their child, i’ll recommend the baby edition, it has everything you would need in it.

Don’t worry. I am just about to complete Nieya’s scrapbook & she is 18. I just put everything in a bag with the book to the side as events went buy. This weekend I just started buying some of my supplies to put it together. This is one of my projects for 2016.
