This past weekend, a friend of mine hosted a vision board party.
It was so inspiring, and I am glad that I went (Thanks for the invite Widza, and Miniola).
It was a group of ladies, and we all spoke about what our passions were, and what we wanted to do with our passion.
Everyone had a different passions, and was able to receive advice from others.
I think gatherings like this one is great for women; coming together, being positive, and motivating others to be all that they can be.
If you haven’t already go ahead a plan a vision party with you and your girlfriends.
I’m definitely loving how my year is starting off. Everything may not be in order but i’m definitely in a happy place, and an inspiring one too.
What am I passionate about, and what do I want to do with that passion?
Obviously I am passionate about by family, and being a mom. I want to be able to inspire other young mothers as myself, and bring us all together. I feel like there’s a lot of stigma towards young mothers, mothers who aren’t married, single mothers etc.
Do you know how many times I’ve heard oh my gosh, you’re so young, you should’ve waited to have a baby. Of course often times life doesn’t go as plan, but I just want you ladies to know that, because you had a baby at a young age doesn’t mean your life is over, doesn’t mean that the word fun should sound so far gone. Of course things become harder, time becomes limited, and hanging out with friends who don’t have children becomes harder.
Who ever said it would be easy?!, whoever did lied, and you know what i’m okay with that. However, having a baby doesn’t mean your life is over, doesn’t mean you can’t ever take another vacation, doesn’t mean all those goals you had on your list are impossible to accomplish.
Honestly I just want to be the best version of me, set my goals and accomplish them; and I want to inspire other mothers as myself while doing so.
I will be the living example of; ‘your life isn’t over post baby’
What is your passion, and what do you want to do with that passion?
Thanks for stopping by!

Widza really took care of us with this lovely meal she put together
Our notebooks that were given to us. We’re supposed to write down the goals we would like to achieve every three months, then look back at what we’ve accomplished once the year is over.
