Are you one of those parents who had a baby, and then realized most of your relationships became distant or non existent?

Well that happened to me. I remember when I was pregnant a close friend of mine who also has a baby said when you have a baby the relationship with your partner becomes harder to maintain, and friendships aren’t usually the same; Tati you haven’t lied!

Mothers need to get out sometimes too… Klarinda’s Birthday Celebration

As you all know My sister in-laws birthday was this past weekend.

She celebrated everyday this weekend, what she called ; K-Tour.

I usually never go out without Alani, but this weekend was another story, and boy was I tired, but I did enjoy every moment of it.

We started the tour at Paint night, it was so nice and everyone’s painting came out beautiful, i’m no artist so if mine came out nice then you know!

Weekend soccer with the little

It’s been quiet over here on the blog for the past week, but i’m back!!

During this weekend my brother and I took Alani to an indoor soccer field.

As most of you know soccer is something that my whole family has participated in. My dad played when he was younger, and got my siblings and I into it since we were able to walk. My brother was the only one who took it serious, he took it as far as playing professional football.

Alani is always watching my brother, when he’s kicking the ball in the house (which my mother has been getting on him about since he was a kid), even when he’s working out, she follows everything he does, so we knew it was time to have her explore the sport. [Read more…]

Our weekend at the MoMA

This past weekend we made it to the MoMA. I really wanted to see the Picasso exhibit, which is ending on the 7th.

It was a good time of course, but it was just too crowded for my liking, especially the Picasso exhibit.

They had a lot of Picasso’s popular paintings, and a few of his sculptures, it was nice seeing them in real life.

One of my favorite exhibits was Jackson Pollock, this is one of Sekou’s favorite artist. It’s really amazing seeing his work knowing how he created them, so effortlessly (very inspiring). His drip paintings get me every time.

Overall we enjoyed our time at the MoMA if you plan to visit you should consider going during the week or early mornings during the weekend, when it’s
not so crowded.
