Thank goodness for this three day weekend we had, because I know for most like myself it was well needed, with a couple of extra days needed lol.
We started our weekend with our regular schedule of Saturday swimming lessons, then a trip to the Cooper Hewitt, a family BBQ, and a graduation celebration; Congratulations Dr. Danya. Overall this was a successful one.
Like I said above the Cooper Hewitt was crossed off of our list of museums to visit. Although this isn’t my top favorite, it is still a great visit. I wish the lighting in there was better, because not being able to use flash and bad lighting calls for not so great pictures, blah.
Anywho, spending the weekend with my little family always makes my heart warm, and I cherish every moment of it. I wish we can have three day weekends every week, because 5 day work weeks, with 2 day weekends just isn’t fair.
How did you all spend you Memorial weekend?
The Haas Brothers.
The Beauty exhibit was just that; BEAUTY. Can you believe all these colorful models were made out of acrylic beads?! This was my favorite exhibit. Alani was even in awe.
The Kassena series
Inspired by the people of northern Ghana and Burkina Faso.
I’m just loving these outfits., very fashionable.
Polythread
I love this showcase of these different staircases, it makes me think; weddings. They’re all so well designed.
Someone is happy about their Cooper Hewitt sticker.
“Papa, Up”
This is what happens when you leave the baby’s stroller home.
Alani is just soo friendly, saying hi to strangers all the time, it so cute, but at what age do they learn “stranger danger” again?
The Immersion room was so cool as you can see, definitely a must see when you visit.
Thanks for stopping by.

Yes, you guys will enjoy it. I haven’t always been a big “museum goer” either, but once you start you can’t stop lol. Have fun!
