Last week, my friends and I went to the Brooklyn Bridge Park.
We’ve all been friends for over 14 years now, and it’s so hard getting to see everyone often. Every now and again we plan outings to hang out with one another, and this time the babies were included.
It’s never enough time during our visits to just catch up on what all of us has been up to, what our plans are, and just life. I truly enjoy having these girls in my life, especially for so long. No matter the time, or space, whenever we see each other again we always just pick up right where we left off.
We decided to go the the Brooklyn Bridge Park, so that the babies can go on the Jane’s Carousel , then we can have a little picnic. Too bad the carousel were running their last ride (maybe next time).
We were able to take the kiddies to the park, and the babies are in love with the slides, as you can see in their facial expressions below. We also tried sitting down in the grass to have some good talk, too bad I couldn’t participate, because my child was having the time of her life running all over the place, and having mommy chase her, at least she enjoyed, so it was worth it.
The picnic wasn’t working out too well so we decided to end the day at Shake Shack. I love, love, love their chicken sandwich. Alani loves their fries, she was even sneaking Maddie some too, lol those two are just so cute.
So happy we were able to make this day possible, and I cannot wait to do it again. Love you ladies!!!!
There goes Aunty Mo helping LaLa to the slide, that she insist she slides down alone.
The nervous mommy I am didn’t want her to slide down the slide alone, but she insisted she did, and I let her do it. I guess sometimes, you have to let them experience and learn certain things.
Anyway, she had a ball and didn’t want to stop!
And there goes Maddie, and her mom, and Essie cheering them on in the back!
And another picture of these two, because I just cannot get enough of how cute they are holding hands. Love them!
That’s all folks, thanks for stopping by.
