I have lived in Brooklyn all of my life and have never visited the ‘Soldiers and Sailors Arch’ by Grand Army Plaza. I’ve always passed by, but that little section positioned right in the middle of what seems like it’s own land, is pretty out of the way, and I’ve never taken the opportunity to stop by until yesterday. Such a nice little spot to visit. Love the water fountain/wishing well they have, great place to go sit a relax, which I plan to do by myself one day. Lil mama enjoyed herself as well; At the end of the day every time we go out I ask her “so, what was your favorite part today/” she replied “throwing the money in the waterfall” Just gotta love this kid man. Thank you to the Easy Spirit Family for inviting me to your Mother’s Day Brunch. One of the amazing parts of this years Mother’s Day. You all held such an amazing panel, I left there feeling very inspired. Also, thanks for the massage, it had me feeling all kinds of rejuvenated, and ready to book a spa massage for myself. Check out their shoes, we all received one in our goody bags, I’m usually a size 6, but the 6 was a little too big for me so I’d probably go down a half size. Anyway, I hope you all enjoyed your Mother’s Day Love You All❤

Happy Mother’s Day to all of us superhero’s, because that’s what we are right?! Motherhood isn’t easy, but I hope with all that we do today can be a great one. I just want to say that I love you all, and many of you have inspired, and guided me into the mother I am today.

My daughter is so tough with a lot of spunk, and I don’t even know what I’m going to do. Everyone who meets Alani raves about how independent, how friendly, how outgoing she is, and how much personality she has, the truth is the expense that comes with this courageous, fearless outgoing personality is bumps and bruises. I have to say that I love her personality yes, but when she’s enjoying life so carefree and gets hurt it hurts me, most of the times it hurts me more than it actually hurts her, and this momma here may shed a tear or two or more.

The other day after one of her little accidents I was talking to my brother, and he said “hey she’s fearless and you gotta love her for it”. I like to consider myself an optimistic soul, and during the conversation with my brother I told him there’s no way that nothing good is going to come out of this personality she has, being so fearless, being so outgoing, this sounds like a BOSS BUSINESS woman to me in the future. So, in the future I will be able to tell her how many mini heart attacks she has given me, but how proud I am at how everything turned out for the better. Pray for me guys, pray for my nerves.
