Here we are at day 8.

This weekend we visited the Brooklyn Bridge Park. We wanted to visit the John J. Harvey historic New York Fire boat which we were able to do, but wasn’t able to take a ride around the new York harbor, which would’ve been so cool. They had free tickets, but all of them are reserved up until October; Blah.

We wwere able to take a walk throughout the whole Brookyn Bridge Park, stopped at the playground, rode the carousel, got ice cream”Great family day” in lala’s exact words.

The also have a hot dog bus parked at Pier 1 on Saturdays and Pier 5 on Sunday giving out free hot dogs. too bad we’re a non beef eating family.

Sekou says i spoil our kid too much. We initially rode the carousel, but Lala didn’t ride the horse that moves up and down, so she was a little sad. the mommy that I am waited on line for a 2nd go round, and fulfilled her wishes lol. But, look at that smileeee!
