Can you all believe this is the first vacation Sekou and I took out the country without the kids?!, Yea i’m just as shocked as you all. It was a much needed break. Being able reset, and unplug from everything was everything and more. Being able to enjoy each others company for those few days was nostalgic.
Arbua was one of the most beautiful islands i’ve experienced, so peaceful, with the most serene blue waters, and white sand. The most polite people who all were so concerned about how their island was treating us. Would definitely recommend for a baecation, solo, or family trip. A place you’d want to visit to unwind, and feel relaxed, which we spent most of our time doing. The island is pretty small, but theres plenty of things to do. We visited DePalm island, which is a private island off of the main island, literally a 5 minute ferry ride. We went snorkeling, took pictures with flamingos, and relaxed. Although the beach there is very rocky, it’s a nice place to enjoy excursions, even for the kiddies, and just chill. We also seen people driving UTV’S around the island, which looked really cool, something I hope we can do next time we visit. Also, we heard great things about Arikok Park, something else to add list for our return trip.
If you haven’t visited Aruba put it on the list. I had it on my vision board for the past 2 years, I had to ask Sekou if he was peaking at my board, because literally checked 3 things that were on my board in 1 trip; Grateful, and thankful. Overall I’d definitely recommend!!! What vacations spots are on your list to visit?
Here is a photodump of pictures we took in Aruba.
