It’s back to school time. This time of the year makes me so anxious. It’s so demanding on time management, on proper preparation, etc.
Lala has been so excited about back to school; for the past week she’s been watching morning routine videos for kids in school lol. She’s been writing out what her morning and night routine is going to be; like literally make a timed schedule for what time she wakes up, what time she’ll get dressed, eat her breakfast…. literally everything is mapped out. She was so excited she woke up at 5am this morning talking about can I start getting ready for school lol, this child is jokes. I love that for her and I could definitely learn a thing or two. I just hope that she’s following this routine she created a week from now, shoot let alone 2 days from now lol.
Although the whole proper routine thing can be a bit nerve wracking, it’s also pretty exciting to get on a strict schedule, that’ll allow life to run a bit more smoothly; that’s what schedules are for anyway right. I seen a quote that said a schedule helps you save time from wasting time; if that isn’t the truth!!!! So for that, i’m here for the routine and schedules, as I just put the kids in bed, and it’s currently 8:15, I packed my lunch for tomorrow, as well as lala’s, filled their water bottles, and ironed our clothes. It’s always the little things that drives me crazy in the morning, and has me rushing; like ironing clothes, packing lunch etc, so if I do it before hand my mornings are a lot more smoother. Shit, I’m praying I can keep up with this routine I created for myself in a week lol.
Oh, I didn’t even tell y’all Lizzy has officially started 3k, and when I say I’m ecstatic… I’m ecstatic. Everyone who knows Lizzy knows that she is well beyond her years, she is so smart, she speaks so clearly, and she is just ready to get a job and pay bills lol. She was so excited to go to school, she’s been wanting to go to school for the past year. She would cry when we dropped Lala to school saying ” I want to go to school too”. Now her dreams have come true, and she had such an amazing first day. The teacher said “She’s perfect, she was excellent”… What parent wouldn’t love hearing these words?!
