The sibling love I love to see. Alani really is the best big sister, she cares and loves Aleise like no other. Not everyone is made to be an older sibling, that why she was specifically chosen. I pray on their relationship all the time, that they will be there for one another when ever they need each other.

Hey Fam,
I hope that all is well. I hope that everyone is enjoying their summer, dispite it being a lot different than past summers. I hope you all are taking care of yourselves, mentally and spiritually.
Lately I’ve been working on my self care, working out, ordering activities for my family and I to do, that we seem to never get around to. Can you believe I bought a canvas for us to make a painting back in March, when everything with COVID happened, and can you believe it’s stillll sitting in the box. Well to be fair I ordered in March when I had all the ideas, and the excitement to do so many at home activities, and it didn’t come until April, at that point the excitement died down. However, before this month is up we’ll be completing that canvas!! Have ya’ll experienced the same?
I’ve also been trying to come up with different routines for the kids to make life a little more smoother; some days are better than most. We try to go to the park as often as possible first thing after breakfast, because my kids are the most active after their long rejuvenated sleep, plus I try to beat the beaming sun, and the crowd, because it seems like people really just don’t have park etiquette, and I can’t deal. That would be a perfect Blog post for another day(noted).
I’ve also been limiting my time on social media, because it seems like another day another sad story affecting my people, and my heart honestly can’t take too much of it. Praying for all of the families who have lost loved ones, recently, and in the past. Hoping that you as an individual can make small change by being kinder to others and most importantly yourself; Give Love Always.

Aleise I love how much, you exude love, the way you wrap your hands around our necks, the way you smile first thing in the morning, or how you place my hand on your face to put you to sleep, the way you climb into your sisters bed, and place your face right on hers while she’s still asleep, the way you say “hi” every time you hear a Facetime call starting, or how you scream mama, mama all day, the way you stare at your sister, and watch her every move, they way you start dancing as soon as Lala does, how you throw your head back smiling so shyly, the list is never ending; we just love all of you.
I want you to know that you’re loved, yesterday, today, and everyday. In a world that’s so crazy, and scary to share you with, just know that you have a team of loved ones, who is there to support you through whatever, a team of loved ones who are there to protect you, and ensure that you have all the tools to get through life, you’ll never be alone, and we won’t ever make you feel that way. Hey ya’ll, I hope all is well. We are all doing great on this side, and just trying to keep ourselves entertained, and busy, finding things to do like; Elephant toothpaste?!
Working from home, schooling from home, and taking care of kiddies is a task that aint easy, but we’re not complaining anymore, just making the best out of it.
Whenever I have any free time I try to spend some one on one time with Lala, because if ya’ll don’t already know she’ll Tik Tok all day and night lol, LITERALLY. So, today while Aleise was down for a nap, well for most of the experiment, we decided to try out this experiment. called the elephant toothpaste. If you have kiddies you should try it; It’s pretty much like a volcano but not too messy or explosive. I listed everything below. Look at how happy Lala is :).

As a family who goes out often, staying indoors could be a lot, especially for an active 5 year old. I remember when I was on maternity leave in the summer, I took Alani and the baby to the park literally everyyy single days, the only time we were home was when it would rain. Alani is a hot foot, so she’s never okay with not doing anything it’s always “so, what are we doing today?! she has to be out and about all the time
Yesterday we went out for a nice family walk, so everyonewas able to get some breeze, and was happy about it, Are you all getting out for fresh air, and vitamin D?
I cannot wait to see you all when all of tis is over, can’t wait for the mommy meet ups to come, I miss you all.
