Hope you all had an amazing Easter. We spent ours with family, and food.
Also I should add that we’re at our homestretch with this pregnancy
Mommy Diaries
Hey Lovelies,
This whole pregnancy I feel like I haven’t spoken much on it. We are nearing the beginning of a new life, and although we’re excited, this momma here is kinda anxious.
Everyone tells me “you already have one it’ll be easy” however I have so many questions, and thoughts. In the beginning when we told LaLa we were having a new addition, she was so ecstatic, and she still is. It seems as if lately she has become way more attached, and clingy, and needy, than usual all the opposite traits of who she is.
It’s gotten to the point where i started doing my own research, and “Child Regression During Pregnancy” is a real thing. From what I read children realize the changes of regular routine, and although I may think that I’ve tried my best to keep up, there has been changes, like how tired and exhausted I am. I’ve been exhausted this entire pregnancy, I take naps during the day, which I haven’t done since I was pregnant with LaLa. So, now I think she’s noticing, and is demanding attention. Don’t let her catch me tryna drift off into a nap… “Mommy can I have some juice, can I have a snack, can we play barbies” Like seriouslyyy. I’m trying to be more conscious and give before asked. I try as much as my exhaustion would allow, but it ain’t easy.. One day at a time.
What are some changes your first born went through when you were pregnant with your 2nd child if any, and any tips for me??
Finally getting around to putting up these pictures from my birthday brunch. This pregnancy exhaustion is different.
We visited a friend of ours restaurant called the Gold Room in Brooklyn. Give it a visit; food was great, the vibes matched, and the prices are also reasonable.
I am ready to take on this year with ambition, hard work, love, and patience; Hello Twenty-Great!!
Thanks for all the birthday wishes!
I Love Kale, and this bed of kale was so good.
Thank you Ari for my cake!!!
This past weekend LaLa and I went to the one day Barbie Dream House Pop Up Shop here in NYC for Barbie’s 60th anniversary. Once I seen that it was only in town for the day I knew we had to get up early and go. So glad we made it. I didn’t tell Alani where we were going until we got there, and she was soooooo happy. The pop up shop was genius, just imagine walking through a real life dream house like the ones your kids have at home that they play with. The dream house had everything, a kitchen, living space, bedroom, a ball pit, a closet with tons of cool clothes, and the shoessss, my favorite part all the nice shoes that your kids barbie’s have. A reallyyy dope experience to say the least.
Vote LaLa for President!!!
