29 Days till the big 4!!!

I really cannot believe that I’m about to be a parent of a 4 year old, how is that even possible so fast?! She’s super excited about this new age she’s about to embark on. Everyday I just stare at her until she says “What happen mommy”, and I calmly ask her if she can be a baby again, because I don’t know how she got so big. She always says “Mommy I can’t be a baby i’m a big girl now, I gotta get big and big”. Oh, Lala, my sweet sweet baby, she’ll forever be my baby no matter how big she gets. I’m really just thankful that I have she’s mine and that it was her that was my introduction to motherhood.

In honor of Lala’s birthday month I usually do a picture a day for the entire month, so today we start with Day 1. Help me countdown the days until she’s the big 4!!!

Also, lets talk about how beautiful these pictures came out (This is with no edits too). I took a photography class a few months ago, and every now and again I take my camera off of auto, and use my camera manually, and try to practice some of the skills i’ve learned. I also finally put my lens I got about 2 christmas’s to use, which I’ve come to the realization that I really have to use it more often. These pictures have me feeling like a professional lol.

Okay these are the last of our pictures from Belize. I hope to visit again very soon, probably within the next two years.

 

How beautiful is my grandma, Cannot believe she’s 82. Also, this trip made me feel like i missed out on having a relationship with my grandparents, because they’re so far away. That too will change <3 Look at Lala loving up on her. One thing about Lala is she has this charm about her that’ll make everyone in her presence feel so loved.

That shiny shoulder really was sun burnt, for all the black people who don’t think they need to wear sunscreen, this is what happens. I lathered Alani in sunscreen, and forgot all about myself.

Alani Really is going to be a better cook than me. She cooks with my mom everyday that she’s with her. She really looks like a pro kneading that dough

 

We took this little plane back to Belize city from San Pedro, this was my second time flying on a little plane like this, and it wasn’t a bad experience at all. i thought I was going to feel every movement, but it was such a smooth ride thank You Maya Island Air

As I said in my last post this visit to Belize was one of the best ones for me so far. I’m happy we got to explore as tourist and also relax at the resort. We stayed at The Phoenix Resort in San Pedro, located in northern Belize. WA place where anyone should go if they want to relax, and catch some cool breeze coming from the shore. We barely ever left the resort, because EVERYTHING you need is there, restaurant, pool, kids painting, adult painting, smores night (Which we missed), yoga, bouncy house literally everything.

A lot of Sekou and my arguments come from him taking shitty ass pictures like this of me, and then he has the nerve to complain about the pictures I take of him!!! Anyone else has this issue??

Between Alani and my nephew they literally wanted to stay in the pool the entire day, which meant I had to stay in the pool the entire day, we literally were doing shifts in the pool.

 

 

While in Belize we visited the Belize Zoo. I’ve been to Belize when a couple of times when I was a kid. I spent my entire summer there when I was about 10. I have to say coming back as an adult has been my best experience yet. My family really took care of us, and made this trip one to remember, not only for me but for Sekou and Lala, So thank you Mams, and Jose!!!
