A Photo Dump

July 15, 2022 | 4 Comments

I don’t know about you all but life has been moving so fast these few months; some career changes, a few vacations, some birthdays, it’s just been busy busy busy. It’s been exciting but also overwhelming. I’m now having down time, and getting back to the things I enjoy doing; like taking the time to blog.

So much has happened, and I’m going to try and get y’all up to speed. A few months back I went on a trip to Atlanta with my sister friends, (i’m not sure I’ve shared this here, or maybe I did lol). One of my friends had a gig out there, and was feeling homesick, so we took a trip to spend quality time with her for a weekend. We planned a pink outfit day It was such a nice vibe as you can see below. Having friends that show up for you is everything, and I’m blessed to have so many valuable relationships.

On Mother’s Day my best friend Ari and I took our mother’s out for brunch. It was cute, however if I ever say I’m doing a nice brunch/dinner for Mother’s Day and bringing the kids, remind me not to… Lawd those kids were a handful, and I said never again especially when I’m celebrating me will these kids have the opportunity to stress me out.. NOPE.

One weekend we went to watch my brother play soccer. The girls really enjoy going to his games, and cheering him on. He really has his nieces as his cheerleaders, it’s the cutest thing ever. One thing about the triple A’s they love their uncle.

I also briefly mentioned up there that I started a new career. I was at my previous job for the past 10 years… Yes 10 years, that is crazy. I’ve learned, and gained so much during those years, however it was time to spread my wings. I was becoming too comfortable and complacent, and I’m so happy I walked out on faith and just went after what’s mine. The world still has so much for me and I’m excited for the accomplishments to come. I hope you all also go out for what’s yours, don’t wait a day, a month, and definitely not 10 years. Sometimes we allow fear to navigate our lives, and then we’re wondering why we’re not performing at the best of our abilities. I know it’s better said than done, but baby steps, and in some cases like mine… Big steps.. just take that leap!

If you all read this far, thank you. I’m going to have a part 2 of this photo dump, because there’s so much more. I love you all always and forever.

This was at Uncle Nana’s game, the girls had so much fun.
This was Easter 2022
We had a playdate with Cruze, and Aspen, we need another go round!!!
We had a family fun day at Rockefeller Center. This kids got their face painted, did some arts and crafts, and danced…a lot.
That time in ATL… We were literally only there for 48hrs.
This was Mother’s Day

Happy 3rd Birthday Lizzy

June 8, 2022 | 6 Comments

Happy 3rd Birthday to our little Princess. She’s the boss of the house, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. Lizzy brings so much light and laughter into our home, and we’re so grateful for it. She’ll randomly come up to you and say “I Love You” and share a kiss. When it’s time for bed she’ll ask for you to interlock hands with her until she falls asleep. I will cuddle, and interlock hands with you to put you to bed now and forever little mama. Her favorite pass time is probably bothering her big sister, and doing whatever she’s doing; dancing flipping playing roblox, yea she does it all… What 3 year old you know playing roblox?! lol.

We cannot wait to celebrate, and get cake wasted this weekend. Everyone wish our little princess a happy birthday. Although, she may not be able to read now, in the coming years she’ll be able to come back and read these posts. Lizzy, we love you!!!!!

Ice Cream Date Me Please

April 11, 2022 | Leave a Comment

A couple weeks ago when the weather was much nicer here in NYC my nephew and I took the girls out for some ice cream, and a park date. We went to this local ice cream shop in Brooklyn, near my parents, and it was nice, wish they had more ice cream options. Lately i’ve been trying to step out of my comfort zone and try new things, so I wanna try new ice cream too lol. What Ice Cream shops are your favs, I want to try some of those fancy ice creams I be seeing all over instagram with all that fancy stuff lol. One thing about us we love a ice cream, but we always go to the same ice cream shops, we also love a park date too, but can you blame us.

Taking out all three girls had me like whewwww 2 kids really might just be it. Before I had kids I always thought I’d have 3 or 4 kids, but wow kids really require a lot of patience, time, love, attention, and so much more. I am truly grateful that my kids have so many cousins in their age range, and they’re able to have the close bonds that they do.

I love that my niece an Aleise are the same age, and they are like best cousin friends, they fight but they also love so hard. I’m happy that my niece is bigger now, and is able to vocalize her feelings, so I feel a lot more comfortable bringing her out and about for a good time with the girls. We’re about to have us a good time this spring, and summer. Y’all the weather is getting nice so send me some things I should do. I’m currently putting things in my calendar for us to do. However, in the meantime, enjoy the rest of the week, we have a few sunny days, so get out with the kiddies and enjoy.

My little baby is getting so big.
One thing about Lala and I; we gonna do a tik tok lol

Spring fight back

March 30, 2022 | Leave a Comment

I seen a meme recently that said winter is here again, spring fight back lol. It feels like winter all over agin here NYC. I just don’t understand it, we want nice weather. We want to put on less clothes and hang outside longer. I don’t know about y’all but the cold weather aggravates me, and puts me in a bad mood. When the weather starts getting warmer everyone is just nice you know. I’m just ready to be outdoors with the kids hanging out, eating brunch outside, hair blowing in the wind you know.

Although the weather isn’t the best right now, you know us; we’re going to make the best of it always. I was looking up things for us to do all last week, but didn’t real come across that many options. It’s a lot harder finding family activities for us to do because the kids have an age gap, and somethings Lizzy may be into, Lala may be too advanced for you know, so that’s my dilemma these days. However, ice cream is always great for all of us. This past weekend we went to one of our favorite ice cream spots, it’s actually a frozen yogurt place, but we always opt for the ice cream. The kids love making their own creations. Lala literally put every candy you could think of, I wish I took a picture of it. The first thing I said was make sure you don’t forget to brush your teeth before bed.

Any way I’m looking forward to the spring activities once spring actually decides to get her act together. The world is seeming a lot more normal these days, so that makes me happy. My family and I are trying to be out in these streets having a good time, so spring like I said “Fight Back”

31st Birthday; Lets Call it Relaxation

March 28, 2022 | Leave a Comment

I recently celebrated my 31st birthday. This year for my birthday I said I wanted to just relax; no big birthday dinner, no brunch just relaxation. Being a mom of 2, a fiance relaxation seems something of the past, but for this new year I want to make resting more of a priority. Sekou decided to take me to a little staycation. I was able to really rest not have to wake up make breakfast, take care if anyone just whatever I wanted. I participated in a full moon ceremony, and yoga, just up my alley. The hotel also had these personalize sauna’s love love love. We also went to dinner, I lowkey had a mini photoshoot in the room, thanks to the convenient self timer option on my camera.

Writing about this experience, I’m ready for another one already. Needless to say this birthday was different, and I loved it. I’m looking forward to more rest, and more gentleness this year. Happy Birthday to Me!!!!

Also, I want to thank you all for the birthday wishes! I love you all so much
