Hey My Loves, it’s been a minute since i’ve been here. So much has happened during these past few weeks, it’s been quite busy. I’m finding the time now to update you all on what we’ve been up to. A couple of weeks we had our first Mommy Meet Up of 2022 in honor of World Book Day. This was my first time collaborating with others who have the same mission as me, to give back to our community, and it was such a great idea.

One of my high school classmates (Hey Nikita) reached out to me to collaborate on a story time meet up for World Book Day. She also has a mission which she calls “It takes a village campaign” which supports students and families of color. She has created a job readiness program, academic support group, student, and family workshops, and more. She is currently raising money for her students to have paid internships this summer. This past weekend we have finally resumed our Mommy Meet Ups, and I have to say it was wellll worth the wait. The kids had so much fun reuniting with their friends, running in open space, soaking up the little bit of sun there was, painting pumpkins, eating snacks, listening during story time, singing happy birthday… Lets just say it was a great great day. Again, I want to thank every single person who came out, and everyone who has supported. Looking at these photos bring so much joy; it screams Black Mom Magic, and Black kid Magic. leave a comment like, share with a friend, support anyway you feel you heart desires.
