The Belize posts has begun. Disclaimer; for the next few posts, I will be posting pictures from our trip to Belize last week. We had such an amazing time, and we took tons of pictures, so if you’re up for the ride just come back and check my page during the rest of the week.

We started our trip off with a mommy meet up at the Leo Bradley Library. We enjoyed story time, and painting our very own canvases. This Mommy Meet up was such a success, and one of my biggest turnouts. To be totally honest I was a little nervous about this meet up in the beginning, the unknown is always a little nerve-wracking for me, plus my package with all of my goodies was somehow lost in transit somewhere, so it really had me second guessing myself, and had to buy all the supplies we used the day before we left for Belize, actually the night before; thanks to my big brother for helping a sister out. Looking back now, everything turned out perfect, just as it should be, so always trust the process, even when theres curve balls thrown your way, figure it out!!

I also want to give a special thank you to the entire Leo Bradley family. Thank you all for hosting LoveDemitra’s Mommy Meet Up, you all were so pleasant, and so helpful, I can’t wait until we can do this again; BIGGER and BETTER.

This past weekend, we enjoyed out mommy meet up at the Cortelyou Library, they hosted what they called Summer Jam weekend.

This meet up is so special to me, this is the library I grew up in, the library my daughter comes to often for story time, and the one I just hosted my mommy meet up at…. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!!!

We were able to enjoy some arts and crafts with Melanie Hope Greenberg, we also had the time of our lives in front of the library with some good music, alongside musical chairs. You all may have seen it on my instastory, and live.

I want to thank all the mommies who came out, and continues to support this movement, I love you supermoms, can’t wait to see you all at the next one!

Love building relationships with people who I’ve met in other settings, (in Taquanna and I case that was work) who have become mommies, and we now get to build mommy memories together.

Love when the dads are active too. Don’t let the name “Mommy Meet Up’ discourage you, ALL are welcome; mom, dad, aunt, uncle, God Mommy, Grandma, Grandpa etc.
