Date Night at the Dream Machine

First and foremost thank you the Dream Machine Family for having Sekou and I visit. It was such an experience; thats the best way for me to explain, a dream experience. Loved the blue effect throughout the different rooms.

Although it is very creative, and nice, I feel like the experience was a little ruined, because I’ve been seeing the Dream Machine up and down my instagram timeline, so I already new what to expect. Being the art lover family that we are, we really like to visit places and explore without prior influence, but it was still fun nonetheless.

If you all want to visit, go grab your tickets now, because it ends on May 31st.

Our Visit to The National Geographic Encounter

This past weekend we visited the National Geographic Encounter. It was a really cool experience that takes you through the Pacific Ocean. Their technology, and photo animation allowed us to swim through extraordinary underwater places, and feel like we were actually there. We visited the coral reefs at night, we watched two squids have a really intense encounter, we also swam through the kelp forest

Mommy Meet Up

Our next meet up is here. We are heading to the New York Transit Museum on Tuesday, April 24th (Please refer to flyer above)

If you’re a working mom like myself then most of your activities take place on the weekends, because all the weekday activities take place during the hours that most working parents are at work.

Well thankfully for my working parents the New York Transit museum is hosting a Family Shingding. It will be a night filled with imaginative, subway themed family fun. Kids and their families will be able celebrate springtime and the magic of motion with an evening featuring puppetry craft and a parade on the platform of their historic subway station home and more.

The Egg House Pop Up

We had a funfilled busy weekend.

NYC has been having a lot of pop up installations, and we got the chance to visit The Egg House pop up. Their installation will be up until June 27th, so there’s plenty of time to visit. Children 3 and under are free, and general tickets are $18 (well worth it). It’s fun for adults and kids, so great family trip, or even a date.
