Whitney Pt.2

Last week we took a trip to the Whitney museum, where I got this lovely book for our daughter.

This was our first time taking her to the museum, and our first time going to this museum.

I think it’s safe to say that we all enjoyed it, even baby girl, she couldn’t keep her hands off of the paintings (had the workers running to me telling me she CANNOT touch the paintings, oops).

Other than that everything was perfect, she was all into the paintings and exhibits, she didn’t fuss not once.

I really loved the ‘Mary Heilmann: Sunset’ exhibit, which is over on September 27th.

If you have time, I definitely recommend visiting, you will not be disappointed.

For all the parents with babies, they have stroller tours on select Saturdays, for parents with children ages 0-18months.

These vendors sure know how to get people’s money.

Babies are just the cutest people on earth.

They’re mini humans walking around.

With little human bodies (what’s cuter than that?!)

With that being said, every time I see anything in a mini version it automatically becomes a must have for my daughter ( well not just anyyything, but you get what i’m saying).

Whitney Museum Pt.I

The other day we took a family trip to the Whitney Museum.

It was absolutely gorgeous (we’ll talk about that another time because it deserves it’s own post).

Anywho, we bought Alani the cutest little book ever while we checked out their guest shop, and I couldn’t wait to get home to read it to her, too bad she past out right after her bath. [Read more…]

Over the weekend

We had a great weekend.

A few things we enjoyed in no particular order.

Swimming class with daddy, and my swim buddies.

Hanging out with the grandparents.

Family day with Hip Tot at Lakeside, which included singing, story-time, and a lovely “Jack and The Beanstalk” show….. (who knew they renovated Prospect park so nicely?!)

Lunch with my aunties (Mommy’s best friends from Junior High School).

Let’s talk fitness.
Before I had my daughter I just started getting into the workout thing, and eating right. I just mastered it. I noticed my body getting toned, I started even getting abs. Then a few months later, boom I was pregnant, and all that stopped. Even though my dr. Said I could continue working out I decided not to. The most I would do was walk the steps in my apartment building.
