Mothering Two
Being a parent of two is a different kind of parenting, it made me realize that one kid is easy two isn’t. Although it’s only been just about 7 weeks, it’s shown me a lot. For me I take time, love, memories and attention very serious when it comes to parenting, these are the things I believe kids remember in the future.
In these past few weeks I’ve learned that each kid need their individual attention as well as bonding time together. Having a newborn is so demanding, and it’s so easy to “forget” about the bigger sibling since they’re able to do so much on their own, and if their anything like Lala they know how to entertain themselves. I’m learning that I should try to spend as much frequent one on one time with Lala as I can. One day we had “Lala Day” (Sekou’s Suggestion), where we spent the entire day with just us and her, and boy did she love it, because if you know Lala you know she loves her some attention. We need to have more “Lala Days”. Like I said it’s only been a few weeks so we are still learning still winging it, send us to creative tips, and what works for you guys!

Soon To Be 5 Year Old | Day 1
I Cannot believe how fast time is going. How am I about to have a 5 yr old, when I still feel 18??? Everyday Lala is asking me if it’s her birthday, she’s so excited about being a big girl. Being a 5 yr old to her is like the best thing ever, let her tell it, she cannot wait to be an adult. I be trying to tell her from now it’s a set up, but she thinks its the coolest thing ever to be able to do whatever you want whenever you want.
Anyway back to this 5 year old I’m about to have, she’s excited while i’m here like please turn back the hands of time, but in all honesty I couldn’t have asked for a better kid, she cares for those around her and is the most loving kid I’ve ever met, one of the most determined ( if that means doing the monkey bars over and over 15 times; she’s with it until she has mastered it). Lala is such a great example and big sister for little mama, couldn’t have asked for a better big daughter. Lala we all love you, so lets take on 5 like never before

Gryph & IvyRose Review
Recently our new family over at Gryph & Rose reached out to us and sent us some gifts to try out.
We got the Poppin’ Bubbles, and the Knight in Armor Body Oil. I usually like to try products out a few times, so that i am able to give my honest opinion before I write a review.
I love that all of their products are formulated with the most effective, and natural ingredients for little ones. I have to say my favorite product was the body oil. I usually hate body oils, because it’s usually so oily, and doesn’t moisturize our skin just makes the surface look oily, but this one actually moisturized Lala’s skin. This is something we’ll definitely be using often.
Lala loved the bubbles, because what kid doesn’t. I like that a litlle of both of these products go a long way. So you don’t have to use a lot to get good result. I must also add that their products are pediatrician approved.
