My Tough Cookie | Day 2
Fun Fact: LaLa recently had to get stitches, I cried, like a baby and she barely did, or even cared, all she was worried about was going outside to play with her cousin Bralyn.
If any of you know LaLa personally you know that she is such a dare devil, very fearless, and is known for giving me mini heart attacks. Well she’s also such a tough cookie, and lord knows that’s the kind of kid I need to keep me calm when things like this happen.

My Almost 3 Year Old | Day 1
I cannot believe in a few more weeks, i’m going to be a mother to a 3 year old. I cannot count the amount of times people told me that time flies when you have a kid, I just didn’t know it’ll be this fast. I’m really not prepared for all of this, it’s a little sad if you ask me. It’s like the older she gets the less she needs me, however, I’m also loving the independence in some areas so it’s not all that bad lol,
Welllll in preparation for my little ones Birthday, like the past 2 years I’ll be honoring a picture a day, and today we start with Day 1!!

New York Hall of Science visit
Lala , my nephews and I visited the New York Hall of Science museum. My nephews have been asking me to take them here for a while now. I cannot believe it was my first time visiting, but I’m glad we chose this time to go, because the Angry Birds exhibit is so dope.
I love that this museum is allows the children to be so interactive. Alani loved it, a tantrum was close to happening when it was time to leave, so that tells it all. Check out our pictures below.
“Kid Power”
This exhibit is so creative
If you’ve ever played the game Angry Birds, you know how fun it is, well at the museum you’re able build an angry bird setup with life size blocks and an angry bird on top, then use a giant slingshot to knock them down with a ball. Really fun. This particular exhibit runs until August 27th.
I love that LaLa is so fearless.
The Hall of Mirrors, left me feeling dizzy.
The science Playground was Alani’s favorite part, and i;m sure it would be for any kid.
She went on this slide over a dozen times, NO exaggeration.

Oh, summer
Oh, Summer, I usually hate you. Hate how uncomfortable you make me feel, how annoyed I get when I walk out the door and i’m dripping sweat instantly, or that outside smell once I get back into the house.
However, this summer for some reason, I’ve fallen for you, fallen for you kind of hard, and you seem to be leaving so quickly. Sorry for not appreciating you, and I hope we can enjoy each other a little while longer.
